After 11 years of dating (including 4 years of engagement), we finally decided to get married. Yes, you may have read about this before . But, what you may not know, there is going to be a movie launched this summer (or before summer, depending where you live), titled Five-Year Engagement. I had to laugh so hard when watching the trailer, because this is very close to what happened in our relationship :P So, I am very looking forward to watching this movie

Going back home is going back to your childhood, meeting the voices from the past in an abode that reminds yourself of where it all began thereby presenting you with memories to cherish in solitary peace. Each year, this is a routine for those of us who work thousands of miles away from our home and cherish this sojourn with child-like enthusiasm. This eagerness is even more visible on the faces of those who welcome us back and accept us as we are. Out of grief, I am writing this. Don’t you ever wonder why certain things happen? Do they really happen for a reason? Or do they happen because they just,… happen? I am crying for a friend of mine, who is maybe crying and screaming even more that I do now. I raise this question again and again, “why, God?” Once I read a saying that goes like this “don’t say “why, God?” but “why not?”” And to be honest, I find that really harsh. I do believe that our God is loving, but at this point, I just don’t see Him as loving and caring. God, You just don’t make sense to me right now, but I pray so that you will be with my friend, who needs you even more than I do now.
