Li-Ma relaxing exericse

Memang stress itu obat yang paling ampuh buat nge-blog! hehehhe,.. tapi not a creative one. Ini ikutin si Dita. Mayan lah, bisa bikin gembira dan semoga yang baca juga gembira.

What were you doing ten years ago?

I was almost 14 years old. I was in the first grade of junior high school. It was quite fun, I remember. I found it so cool to be a junior high school student. New friends, more difficult studies, I was so challenged by it.

What are five things on your to-do list today (atau tomorrow ya? soalnya sekarang uda almost jam 1 subuh)?
Tema untuk besok adalah RELAXING! Setelah assignments, reading books and many things going through, swt

1. Sleeping in. At least, I have to wake up at 9 - 10 o'clock. I really hope I could. I couldn't sleep in lately, because of assignments and stress.
2. Having Lunch at Limoncello! it is a small breakfast-lunch, small cafe, located at the posh side of the Hague. I came across this cafe when I accompanied my classmate, Tina, to the doctor (neurologist). Stefy and I would probably go there to have brunch, or lunch!
3. Reading Rectoverso and drinking cuppa chocolate
4. Watching Gossip Girl or How I Met Your Mother. Just some episodes to ease the pain :)
5. Going to Crazy Piano, at least Prisca and I planned to. We'll see what's gonna happen.

Snack you enjoy?
1. Pringles Original
2. Muesli Bar (with nuts)
3. Cinnamon stick from Aldi
4. Snack a Jack chocolate chips
5. Wasabi peanuts from the Asian stores
6. Banana and oranges
7. Fresh Nuts from the Dutch market, especially when they are still hot. Chestnuts are best in this time of the year.
8. For a heavier snack, I go for Kibbeling met knoflook saus (fried fish with garlic saus) or Broodje Haring (Haring fish with bun) from Hobbema market

5 Places you have lived?
1. Surabaya, East Java - born, grown up, and partly still live there
2. Diemen, the Netherlands - studied there and lived there for 2 years or so
3. Amsterdam, the Netherlands - my second home (or my first)
4. Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom - studied there, worked there, lived there, and dream to go back there!
5. Meulaboh, Nangroe Aceh Darussalam - worked there, lived there, still want to go there

5 things you would do if you were a billionaire?
1. Starting up book cafe di Surabaya. Dimana dijual makanan-makanan homemade, dengan dapur terbuka, dan buanyaaak buku yang bisa dibaca di tempat atau dipinjam. Harga student, alias harga terjangkau. Makanan enak dan dijamin bikin ketagihan.
2. Punya foundation atau organisasi sosial yang empower people, memberikan pelajaran keterampilan memasak, kerajinan tangan, les bahasa inggris dan komputer gratis, memberikan soft loan buat masyarakat Indonesia yang serius pengen memulai usaha sendiri
4. For myself, I would travel all around the world, doing a bit of wisata kuliner, photography trip, and cultural trip. Tak lupa mengunjungi semua toko-toko buku di dunia, dan ngeborong buku!!! Selain itu, pengen juga di tiap negara yang Oma kunjungi, Oma belajar bahasanya.
5. Altho I am not very girly or shopaholic, kalo bener-bener kaya raya, pengen juga bisa shopping di tempat-tempat orang kaya, kayak di Mauritskade (the Hague), di London, Milan or Paris. Trus, di make-up ama make-up artist terkenal. Beli baju langsung dari designernya, yang one of a kind (kayak Blair Waldorf gitu!)

Ah, udah ah! Now sleepy time. Dan besok, bener-bener Re-La-X-ing TIME!!!

What would you do if you could live another life

What would you do if you could live another life just for one day? This line is quoted from "Last Chance Harvey" . I have watched this film twice and still feel so touched everytime I watch it. Kate Walker, the main character in this film, uttered this question to Harvey Shine. In this story, both of them lived a life that is not very happy-chappy. Kate lived in a pathetic, boring life; Harvey in a screwed one. When Kate asked this question, both of them seem to ponder: what if I could live a different life, just for one day, just to try out. This question makes me ponder, too: what would I do if I was given a chance to live any kind of life I want, just for one day? Where would I be? What would I do? Who would I be? Lately I have been thinking about the life I am living right now. Everything is so well-planned. I graduated from high school, went abroad to study, came back home to work, went abroad again to do my master, working in a reasonably good organisation, and going ho...

The unexpected wedding

Almost every girl has ever dreamt of her wedding day – what she would wear, who would come, who the prince charming is. I would say, every girl must have a certain expectation and standard when it comes to a wedding: it could be grand, small celebration, family only, destination wedding – you name it. My dream wedding happens to me a small, close friends and family only wedding. If you grew up in the 90s, you would know a boy band called 98 degree. They had a song titled ‘I do’. If you search on YouTube, you will find the video clip, which shows a beautiful wedding ceremony. That’s my dream wedding! My whole life, I was picturing that. Twelve years ago, I started dating this guy, who is now my husband. His family background is very different than mine. Among other things – which we thankfully have tolerated and worked on – the way to throw a wedding party is totally different. His dream wedding party is ‘tell the world I am getting married’-kind of party. Yes, he wanted grand...

Cold Feet

One of my closest friends is getting married tomorrow another one in May another one in November. and an ex-classmate is also getting married in April/May. and, I dreamed about getting married last night. I remember some months ago I was so enthusiastic with the idea of getting married. Although I knew that our relationship was not yet ready for that stage, I was so pushy to Stefy. I had asked him when exactly we would get married. Ah well, it was all the flashy things that I longed for. Right now, what I want is to avoid it! I am just not brave enough to throw myself into this new status. Don't get me wrong, I am probably just like any other girls out there who like the beautiful wedding gown, like to be made up, like to be the queen of the night. But, have you ever considered what would happen after you wave off the guests and head to your own home, starting your new chapter of life? or what would happen after the happy chappy honeymoon? Would we then live...
